A Unique Mother/Daughter venture
For The Diva In You is a unique little boutique nestled in Kitimat, BC, which is owned and operated by a mother/daughter team Carol and Meaghan Dale. We opened our doors in 2012 to supply on-trend casual clothing to suit varying ages and budgets. We stock regular and plus sizes from XS to 3X with plenty of jewellery and accessories to complete your look.
I started the business at 62 after retiring from my job as a Customer Service Rep. In the beginning I was part of a day spa, but as things evolved, I ended up taking over the space, and my daughter joined me in the adventure.
In the last couple of years, we have also added a hairdresser to the space, Lynn’s Hair Flair, and it has been an excellent partnership. You can get your hair done and shop for a new outfit all in one go! Diva out the door!
We also support many home-based businesses in the area that sell their items on consignment.
In the back of the shop, we house the Wigs For Cancer for the Canadian Cancer Society.
Big business is great for the economy, but it’s the local unique shops like us, whose pride in our community is evident, and working together we continue to support our beautiful community.
